Heidi Hendrix is the Chief People Officer for Sierra Space. In this role, she leads all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, organizational and leadership development, compensation, succession planning, employee relations, engagement and diversity.
Heidi has more than 20 years of strategic human resources experience with a focus on organizational and leadership development and change.
Heidi has worked in a variety of sectors, including financial services, aerospace technology and consulting.
Most recently, Heidi served as a member of Spencer Stuart’s Human Resources Practice where she provided executive search and leadership advisory services for clients ranging from major multinationals to emerging organizations.
Prior to that, Heidi was the top human resources executive for Northrop Grumman’s Aerospace Systems division. In this role, she was responsible for human resources for the rapidly growing $10 billion sector. Previously, Heidi spent 15 years at Bank of America in a variety of human resources leadership roles. While there, she worked on major mergers and led HR-related integration activities – including organizational design, talent assessment and selection, and culture integration.
Heidi began her career with Andersen Consulting’s change management practice, where she partnered with clients on business transformation and technology implementation.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Heidi earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a double major in organizational and interpersonal communications. She has been active in leadership development, diversity and mentoring programs throughout her career.
